  • Gwen Stefani and beau Blake Shelton have been hogging the headlines recently, between their rapidly heating relationship and the rumors that they are on their way down the aisle/to parenthood. But a new story is spreading around the Web, and it’s in an entirely different direction.

According to OK! Magazine, the duo are headed for a breakup after Gwen found texts on Blake’s phone from his ex-wife, country star Miranda Lambert. Neither star has confirmed a breakup, however, so it’s likely just another bit of grist in the rumor mill.

This isn’t the first time Gwen and Blake have been linked to a nasty story involving Lambert–who is in a relationship of her own with singer Anderson East–and it certainly won’t be the last. Speculation flew earlier this year when an eagle-eyed fan noticed that Lambert follows Stefani on Twitter and some wondered whether it was because she wanted to keep her enemies close. However, a source said that the women are simply fans of one another’s music, and the social media follow wasn’t an attempt to be catty.

“Gwen and Miranda are actually big fans of each others’ music and respect each other as artists. Miranda has always thought very highly of Gwen and thinks she is an extremely talented artist,” the source said. “The tears are long gone. Miranda seeing Blake having his relationship with Gwen out in the open has eventually become more of a healing process for her. Admittedly, though, if Blake has a child with Gwen or gets married to Gwen, that will hit a little hard.”

Stefani doesn’t have much time for rumors; the busy musician and mom has been working hard on new music and tried something new for the Grammy Awards earlier this year when she performed in a live music video sponsored by Target. Gwen is also currently lending her voice to the upcoming Pixar movie Trolls, and she recently shared a photo of herself in the recording booth.
