Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale welcomed the birth of their third son, Apollo, on Friday, Feb. 28. The couple have been married for 11 years and have two other sons, Kingston, 7, and Zuma, 5.

Stefani is anything but the traditional type and even threw herself a baby shower last month after announcing that she was expecting another son.

Several celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow, Nicole Richie, Rachel Zoe, Jessica Alba, Kate Beckinsale and Chelsea Handler attended the shower.

The entire baby shower was decorated in baby blue, including the snacks and desserts. Stefani shared photos of the shower on her Instagram.

Stefani waited until January to share the news that her third child would be a boy and posted her announcement on Instagram as well. Stefani posed in a blue shirt, wearing a crown in her photo.

Stefani isn’t the only one who likes to use social media to share all of the excitement about Apollo. Once the baby had arrived, Rossdale tweeted a birth announcement.

Photos of baby Apollo have not been released and since the couple seems to like their privacy, it is not likely that they will be showing off their photos any time soon.

It is likely that if they do decide to share pictures of the new little guy, they will do it on one of their social network pages.
