  • Google Fiber TV has already proven itself to be an incredible deal. For only $120 a month, subscribers get access to the highest definition television currently possible with all kinds of extra goodies, including a Nexus 7 tablet. The only real downside was that the initial channel list was a little lacking. Sports fans were especially turned off because it didn’t have ESPN, but that all changes today.

Google announced that they have signed a deal with Disney to offer their wide range of channels, including ESPN, on Google Fiber TV. With the addition of Disney, Google Fiber TV is now up to over 200 channels. The only channels lacking now are those owed by Time Warner. It’s really only a matter of time, however, before Google is able to ink a deal that brings HBO to subscribers. They already have Starz and Showtime.

Here’s the full list of channels that Disney will be providing on Google Fiber TV:

ABC Family, ABC News Now, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney XD, ESPN, ESPN Buzzer Beater, ESPN Classic, ESPN Deportes, ESPN Goal Line, ESPN2, ESPNews, ESPNU, Longhorn Network, Ovation, SOAPnet, TBN, TBN Enlace, Velocity

Google will also be announcing the final number of fiberhoods that qualified for Google Fiber tomorrow. Earlier this week, it was revealed that over 80% of Kansas City had qualified for Google Fiber. Google is now counting up the apartments and condos that also signed up so they can get an accurate count. Installation of Google Fiber should begin sometime this month or next.
