  • Giuliana Rancic appeared with Ryan Seacrest on the Golden Globe awards for the E! Network’s red carpet coverage, but the host made the news herself after her skinny figure caught the attention of people watching the coverage. The host drew criticism with some people calling her “unhealthily skinny”, but for the most part, people are just worried about her. Commentators were quick to point out that Rancic’s collarbones are protruding and that her arms are rail thin. Some are even commenting that Rancic might be suffering from an eating disorder.

Rancic wore a strapless Maria Lucia dress for the event, coupled with a silver metallic handbag. Back in 2013, Giuliana opened up about the flak she’s been getting because of her weight.

She said in an interview, “I always thought it would catch up to me and it hasn’t quite yet. I’m not trying to be cocky. Anyone who knows me knows I am the least arrogant person. I’m just trying to be honest. I’m like, ‘Eat a sandwich?’ OK. I ate one on the way here!’” Rancic said that her thin figure is due to her fast metabolism.

Dr. Michael Salzhauer talked to RadarOnline about his concern over her figure.

According to Dr. Salzhauer, “There is an old saying that goes, ‘you can never be too rich or too thin.’ In reality, it IS possible to be too skinny. Giuliana Rancic looks like she has lost around 10 pounds recently, which doesn’t sound like a lot, but when you are already a size zero, that can mean the difference between a healthy BMI and an unhealthy one.”

A source who works at E! News tells RadarOnline, “It is so sad, and the worst part is that no one is saying anything to her. They work her to the bone and she really needs to take some time off to get healthy.”
