  • Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas have had a very eventful year, with their April wedding and the birth of their first child. Life just continues to get more enchanting for the Once Upon a Time actors.

In May, Goodwin gave birth to the couple’s first child, Oliver. Since his birth, Dallas and Goodwin’s sleep patterns have become erratic. While doing press for Once Upon a Time‘s fourth season premiere, Goodwin told US Weekly that Dallas has really helped her with Oliver. “He also has not slept since mid-May. I’m always telling him, ‘You can sleep,’ but he won’t, he always helps, he’s my knight in shining armor,” Goodwin gushed.

The newlyweds are overjoyed by the family’s new addition. Goodwin told E! that he’s my “favorite human being. I keep apologizing to Josh: ‘You were my favoritehuman being. He’s magic. I’m madly in love. It’s the kind of love I didn’t know I could experience—which everybody told me would be the case, but then it happens and you’re like, ‘Oh, that’s for real!’ In June, Dallas also tweeted about being “in love” with his son, and how Oliver is Goodwin and his favorite person.

The new parents are making sure to keep Oliver as close to them as possible. Goodwin revealed that “He has a trailer. It’s a Star Wars trailer and it’s on the lot and he comes with us every day because I have to see him every couple hours. We are in a very, very fortuitous position that we can bring our kid to work,” Goodwin expressed.

Goodwin and Dallas star in Once Upon a Time season 4, which premieres this Sunday at 7:00 pm CST.
