Maybelline New York recently announced that Gigi Hadid, the daughter of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster, is the new face of their brand. The 19-year-old model revealed the big news to her fans by posting a behind-the-scenes look at her upcoming campaign.

She showed off her blonde locks and rich red lips on an Instagram post that she shared to her fans. “Thank you all for your kind words and support for this amazing new chapter! To me you’re all #BornWithIt,” she captioned the pic. Hadid is following the footsteps of Jourdan Dunn and Christy Turlington, two world supermodels who also famously posed for the makeup brand.

She was recently hailed as the Daily Front Row’s Model of the Year during their first annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards. Hadid’s BFF, Kendall Jenner was signed as Estée Lauder’s new face two months ago, making the two besties extremely happy.

After signing up with IMG Models back in 2011, Hadid saw her career pick up in great succession. She landed major campaigns for brands like Victoria’s Secret and Tom Ford eyewear. She walked the runway last season for Chanel. Her first modelling stint was for Guess Kids when she was just two years old. The new set of ads for Maybelline will debut in October.

Hadid was last spotted in Malibu, giving her boyfriend Cody Simpson a kiss on the cheek during the singer’s 18^th birthday. Their famous pals which included Miley Cyrus, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Jaden Smith were all present during the wild house party last Sunday.

Along with their friends, Hadid presented Simpson with a pizza-themed birthday cake before their friends lifted him up and tossed the breakout Aussie singer into the pool. Hadid posed next to her dripping wet boyfriend and shared it to all her fans along with other fun pictures from the wild night.
