George Zimmerman was arrested earlier today after a domestic incident that has not been disclosed.

Zimmerman was arrested earlier this year following another domestic incident involving his ex-wife Shellie, shortly after she filed for divorce. Shellie claimed that Zimmerman showed up at her father’s house with a gun, punched him, and threatened the family. Later, he was also accused of stealing items from Shellie’s mother’s home. However, charges were not filed against him at that time, despite the fact that Shellie Zimmerman was heard on the 911 call saying she was terrified of her husband.

“I don’t know what he’s capable of. I am really, really scared,” she said.

For now, the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office said Zimmerman will be booked into the John E. Polk Correctional Facility, but no details have been released yet. Shellie Zimmerman has said that she believed his acquittal in the murder of 17-year old Trayvon Martin in July made him feel “invincible” and led to him making bad decisions.

Today’s arrest doesn’t stem from any altercation with Shellie, however; Zimmerman has a girlfriend, a 27-year old unnamed woman who is believed to be at the center of the crime.
