After an endless parade of actresses, waitresses, female wrestlers, and models over the past few years, actor George Clooney may have finally met his match.

The 52-year old has been spotted (again) with Amal Alamuddin, an 36-year old Oxford-educated beauty specializing in international and criminal law. Alamuddin is currently representing Julian Assange, head of Wikileaks, in Sweden and, in the past, has been advisor to Ghanaian diplomat Kofi Annan.

The two were first seen together in London last October, though sources say she was “just a friend.”

After bringing Alamuddin to a special screening of Monuments Men at the White House in February, the two were seen in Seychelles, an island country off the coast of Southeast Africa in the Indian Ocean. Now it seems as if Clooney has whisked her away again on safari in Tanzania.

A source told People magazine, “He’s with someone who is a very accomplished attorney. She isn’t someone who is pursuing a career in acting or entertainment. She’s on his level.”

Just friends? We’ll see.

But some fans are questioning the photos of the couple taken in Tanzania, saying that they looked “too posed.” Did a photographer follow them to the remote location, hiding behind bushes to get shots of the two in their stylish safari gear?

“This was not a stealthy pap situation,” a blogger commented.

Either way, they look gorgeous together.

Pictures of Clooney and Alamuddin may also continue to dispel rumors of the star’s sexual preference.

When questioned about it in 2012 by The Advocate, Clooney said, “The last thing you’ll ever see me do is jump up and down, saying, ‘These are lies!’ That would be unfair and unkind to my good friends in the gay community. I’m not going to let anyone make it seem like being gay is a bad thing.”

Clooney is back in New York today for meetings with his tequila brand, Casamigos. No word yet if Alamuddin will be at his side.
