  • Have mercy.

Unless it’s still April 1st and I’m just severely undercaffeinated (which is possible, to be perfectly honest), this isn’t an April Fools’ joke. Apparently, Netflix is close to picking up a 13-episode series called Fuller House which, as you may have guessed, has something to do with Full House.

Netflix, savior of forgotten shows, would most certainly attract a legion of diehard Full House fans with this one.

The details, as explained by TV Line’s Michael Ausiello, aren’t as promising as they could be:

According to sources, Netflix is thisclose to ordering Fuller House, a 13-episode multi-cam continuation of Full House to star Candace Cameron Bure as D.J. and Andrea Barber as her BFF Kimmy. Fellow Full House vets John Stamos, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier are being eyed to make guest appearances,

While it’s better than nothing, a show following DJ and Kimmy isn’t quite as exciting as a complete Full House revival. “Guest appearances” by Saget, Stamos, and Coulier doesn’t sound as great as “starring Saget, Stamos, and Coulier” – but hey, take what you can get I guess.

According to the report, Full House creator Jeff Franklin in on board as an executive producer, as is Stamos.

The Full House clan has remained close over the years, and fans have been clamoring for them to get back together and make some more TV. Looks like it could be happening soon with another big win for Netflix.
