Facebook Gives Pages Featured Video Feature

  • Facebook has been testing a new design for the Videos section of Pages. This is reportedly expected to roll out to all Pages in the coming weeks.

The new look, first reported by TechCrunch (via AllFacebook), puts a “Featured” video at the top with sections for “Playlists” and “All Videos” below.

You can currently see it on the ABC News page.

According to TechCrunch, all businesses will be able to choose the video they want to be featured, and it will be presented with a live comment feed.

Facebook has been giving businesses a lot of new features on their Pages. I don’t know if any of it has made up for the decline in organic reach experienced by so many of them, but the company does seem to be catering to businesses more as we head into the new year.
