Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are reportedly floating on cloud nine! The two have fallen in love with their newborn daughter, reports E! News.

For those who missed it, the Place Beyond the Pines co-stars welcomed their first child on September 12.

An insider close to the couple recently shared several intimate details about the big changes in their lives since they took their daughter home! The Gangster Squad actor is reportedly a big help and a wonderful father.

“Ryan is very hands on. Changes diapers, rocks her to sleep—they gave her her first bath together and videotaped the whole thing,” the insider revealed.

The couple has also had a lot of help from family members. “Both grandmothers are so in love and have been to the house every day,” the insider said. The two grandmothers are also said to be a big help with household chores.

The insider went on to share how the 40-year-old actress is adjusting to motherhood. “Eva is so happy she’s a mom, their baby girl is perfect!” the insider gushed.

“She’s so good with kids and has been wanting this a really long time. When she found out she was having a girl, she was freaking out. She kind of wanted a girl deep down, but of course just wants a happy and healthy baby.”

The insider also offered brief details about the baby’s birth. “It was very emotional for Eva and Ryan. They were both in tears when they saw their daughter for the first time!”

Although the twosome was rumored to be splitting up earlier this year, things look quite promising now! “He tells her how sexy and perfect she is all the time…he’s really romantic,” the insider dished. “They are both so happy and in love. They wanted to start a family for a while now.”
