It has been confirmed that Cole Maness has proposed to 32-year-old actress Erika Christensen, and that Christensen said yes. The couple have yet to reveal the wedding date, but it seems that congratulations are already in order. According to sources, Christensen was overheard at Yellowtail Sunset in West Hollywood gushing about her engagement.

While the couple have managed to keep things relatively private about their relationship, Maness and Christensen are both active on social media and are known to share snippets of their adventures together on their respective Instagram accounts. Just recently, Maness shared pictures of Christensen trying on outfits for her TV show Parenthood as well as her appearances on the red carpet. Christensen, meanwhile, has posted pictures of the couple’s biking trips together.

Christensen is a devout Scientologist, which stems from her upbringing as a child with Scientologist parents. In a 2013 interview, she talked at length about her religion. “If I had to sum it up, the goal of Scientology is giving the person back to themselves. Like, your own power of choice,” she said. She also discussed the misconceptions about Scientology in the interview, saying, “One, that we are some kind of closed group. Two, that we are the Hollywood religion and three, that we worship rabbits!”

The actress also said that she will expose her children to what Scientology is all about. “I would expose to them, like, this is what I do, which is how my parents did it, because my parents are Scientologists,” Christensen began. “When I was like seven, they did like this demonstration. There is this thing in Scientology, it’s a study method to demonstrate things out. I would give them the option, of like, these are our study tools. You can use them in school, get good grades, and learn.”

Christensen is current busy filming the final season of Parenthood.
