  • Jessa Duggar and her husband Ben know a little something about keeping their fans in suspense from being on a reality series for years, and now they’re putting those skills to good use by keeping everyone waiting for their new baby’s name.

Jessa, who gave birth to a baby boy last Thursday, posted a picture of her little family on their website but told fans to “stay tuned” to find out what they named him. Monikers are of big importance to Jessa’s family the Duggars, as all the kids have “J” names.

“Our sweet baby boy was born last night. He weighed 9 lbs and 11 ounces and is 21 1/4 inches long! He’s precious and both he and Jessa are doing great. Stay tuned—we will share his name soon!” the site reads.

Jessa and Ben have stayed busy during her pregnancy, traveling to speaking engagements around the country after 19 Kids And Counting was pulled from TLC’s lineup in the wake of the Duggar family scandals. Jessa has kept fans updated the entire way, posting photos on Instagram and giving interviews to People. Jessa has said that she definitely does not want to have as many kids as her mom, but that she and Ben do want to expand their family and may do it via adoption.

“We hope to adopt a lot of kids. If God blesses us with biological kids of our own, it’s not going to quench our desire to adopt,” Jessa told People earlier this year.

While Jessa had hoped to have a smooth labor and delivery at home, sources say she was rushed to the hospital. It’s unclear what happened, but it may have had something to do with the size of the baby. Michelle Duggar reportedly called 911 and told the dispatcher there was a lot of bleeding.

There was quite a bit of blood when the placenta detached, but uterus is hard now. She’s better now, just a lot of blood. She’s talking….Baby is doing wonderful. Baby is great,” Michelle reportedly said.
