  • Diane Sawyer’s much anticipated interview with Bruce Jenner is almost here and ABC has released a promo of the chat.

The brief, 15-second clip premiered during ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy on Thursday. However, little was revealed during the promo, but it does entice the viewer to turn in to the two-hour program in just a few weeks.

“Friday, April 24 on ABC, Bruce Jenner, The Interview,” the dramatic voice-over announces as it introduces (mainly blurred) snap shots from the interview. “The journey, the decisions, the future, the Diane Sawyer exclusive.”

According to Us Weekly, it is expected that Bruce Jenner will discuss with Diane Sawyer his transition from male to female in the two-hour special. The magazine reports that Sawyer was chosen for the big reveal because of her long-standing support of the LGBT community.

The 65-year-old former Olympian is reportedly fully supported by his 10 children and stepchildren, including stepdaughters Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian.

“They all have become protective of him and just want him to live the way he wants,” an insider told Us.

Kim Kardashian told Entertainment Tonight last month that her dad was “the happiest” she’d ever seen him. “I think he’ll share whenever the time is right,” she said of rumors about his transition. “I feel like that’s his journey to talk about.”

According to a press release on Bruce Jenner: The Interview , the exclusive chat will be “far-ranging.”

A likely topic will be Bruce Jenner’s very public, and at times nasty, split from former wife Kris Jenner.

The former couple split in December 2014, but are still committed to the family they created together.

“Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority,” Kris and Bruce said in a statement.
