Derick Dillard and wife Jill Duggar Dillard of 19 Kids and Counting fame celebrated nine months of marriage on Saturday. Today, March 24th, their first baby is due. Talk about impeccable timing.

Calling the event their nine ‘monthiversary,’ Derick and Jill celebrated by taking a picture of Jill Duggar’s growing baby bump. Derick Dillard shared it as part of a collage on his Instagram page.

“Happy 9 monthiversary @jillmdillard !!!” he captioned the pictures. “A LOT has happened since June 21! I am blessed beyond measure and every day is even better with you baby! You’re my best friend, and I love you with all my heart! #newlyweds #newdad.”

Derick and Jill’s nine “monthiversary” also signified the anniversary of the very first kiss the couple shared. Jill Duggar was raised in a family where courtship is taken very seriously, and includes a hard and fast set of rules. One of those rules is that kissing is saved for marriage.

Jill and Derick Dillard recently enjoyed a pre-baby getaway to Texas. They likely realize there won’t be much time for travel after their baby–affectionately dubbed ‘Baby Dilly,’ arrives.

The night after they celebrated their nine “monthiversary,” Jill and Derick Dillard invited Jill’s sisters Jana and Jessa Duggar, as well as Jessa’s husband Ben Seewald, over for dinner. Jana Duggar has come under much scrutiny lately, with rumors circulating about the possibility of her leaving the family’s 19 Kids and Counting reality show. Despite that rumor, the whole gang had a wonderful time eating and visiting with one another.

“Jessa and I are over at Jill and Derick’s with some of the fam sharing a meal together! #fellowship,” Ben Seewald captioned a photo of the family dinner.

Derick Dillard has certainly adapted well to marriage and impending fatherhood, and many expect Ben Seewald and Jessa Duggar will be next. Rumors have surfaced stating Jessa is already pregnant, but no one in the Duggar or Seewald households has confirmed that yet.
