  • Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen may not be together, but they have always tried to get along and remain friends for the sake of their children. While the couple almost never fights about their children publicly, Sheen recently shared some of their dirty laundry on Twitter and decided he wanted to reduce his child support payments to Richards.

Sheen has often bragged on how well Richards has handled his stints in rehab and cared for their children. She even volunteered to care for his other two children while Sheen and their mother were not able to do so. Now Sheen is claiming that Richards wants to keep his daughters from him and has even taken their phones away so they cannot call him.

Included in Sheen’s Twitter rant is a photo that shows a broken baseball bat that was given to the couple when they were married. His caption seems to hint that Sheen and Richard’s friendship is now as broken as their marriage souvenir.

Sheen currently pays Richards about $55,000 a month in child support for their two daughters, Sam and Lola. He also helped Richard’s purchase her home. Both Sheen’s Twitter rant and his decision to reduce child support is stemmed from his anger towards Richards for not letting him spend the holidays with his daughters.

Denise claims that although she made plans to keep her daughters with her for the holidays, she did not tell Sheen he could not join them or see the girls. A source close to Richards claims that she said Sheen is welcome to join her and their daughters on their holiday trip and insists that it is all just a big misunderstanding. Hopefully the couple can sort out their holiday plans so everyone is happy.
