  • Days of Our Lives will soon celebrate 50 years on the air, so it’s no surprise that things are really heating up in Salem. If you watch the daytime drama, and skip off to the kitchen for a cup of coffee or a snack, you might return to find something big has happened. It’s best to save kitchen runs for ad breaks instead, if you don’t rely on DVR-ing your episodes.

One of the biggest story lines on Days of Our Lives right now involves a murderer. There are several theories on who that killer may be, but Salem authorities are dying to pin it on Chad DiMera.

Probably the most exciting thing in the soap opera world is whenever the story line involves a big return. Sometimes people even return from the dead. On Days of Our Lives, the return fans are gearing up for is that of Peter Reckell, who long played the role of Bo Brady. Bo’s wife Hope think she’s been abandoned and has just accepted a marriage proposal from Aiden–who everyone knows is shifty, but no one can really say why.

Will diehard Days of Our Lives fans see Bo–who is presently held in captivity in some sort of underground jail cell–escape captivity in time to stop Hope from marrying Aiden?

You can be sure that if he doesn’t, Hope’s new marriage will be off to a rocky start. Do you expect a romantic Bo and Hope reunion is in the cards?

Soap mags are saying the face of the Salem killer will soon be revealed, and from watching Bo Brady writhe in pain and dig in the dirt in his cave, it only makes sense that he will be free on an episode in the near future.

Are you a Days of Our Lives fan? What’s the most intriguing story line in your opinion right now?
