  • It’s still hard to believe that Full House is actually getting a reboot with cast members from the original, but it is happening. I guess Girl Meets World proved anything is possible.

Fuller House, which Netflix officially announced last month, just picked up another familiar face as Dave Coulier, who played Joey, is now on board.

Netflix ordered 13 episodes of Fuller House, which stars Candace Cameron-Bure, Andrea Barber, and Jodie Sweetin. John Stamos will produce and guest star.

The show will center on D.J Tanner (now D.J. Tanner-Fuller) – a recently widowed pregnant mother of three. Tanner-Fuller moves in with her sister Stephanie and best friend Kimmy Gibbler. Quite the fuller house.

“The continued support of Full House fans of all ages for the last 28 years has been astounding,” executive producers Robert L. Boyett, Thomas L. Miller and Jeff Franklin said in a statement when the show was first announced. “It is an honor and a thrill to catch up with these beloved characters and explore their lives today. The love you saw on the show was real. The cast has remained a loving family off screen all these years. We are as excited as our fans to finally bring Full House back to life.”

    Coulier shared this on Instagram:

Yes, I'll be on the Fuller House reunion. And this guy, Mark Cendrowski will be directing. #cutitout

According to recent reports, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen said they didn’t previously know Fuller House was happening for sure. Apparently Stamos disagrees about whether or not they knew.

Either way, it’s hard to say how much the Olsen twins’ presence will be required as they both played a single character as children, and the phrase “You got it dude” isn’t nearly as cute coming from an adult.
