Dreams do come true, and for some lucky people life imitates art. Thirty-four-year-old David Caspe, who is the creator of Happy Endings, recently proposed to his girlfriend of two years, and she was happy to accept. This romantic story proves that sometimes real life happy endings are mirrored by the actors and actresses who spend their days portraying such dreams.

Thirty-two-year-old Casey Wilson shared her exciting news with Us Magazine about the recent engagement. “I got engaged over Labor Day Weekend to my boyfriend of two years and I’m thrilled. He proposed with a beautiful family ring the first night we spent in our new house. I was, of course, crying slash wailing and then my dad and brother and his family came up the driveway and then everybody was cry/wailing. It was very special. A perfect night,” Casey Wilson said.

Though the couple has been engaged since the Labor Day Weekend, Casey Wilson showed her engagement ring to the media on Friday, September 20th when she attended a pre-Emmys party in Beverly Hills, California with David Caspe.

Casey Wilson shared her love for the show on Twitter in May of this year; now she can share her own personal love story as a happy ending in and of itself.
