  • Earlier this week, 2K Games released a trailer for The Bureau: XCOM Declassified. That video featured a lot of the action gamers can expect to see in the game, as well as a few of the story beats and main characters they will control.

Today, another Bureau trailer has been released. This one’s a live-action trailer, and one that shows what 2K’s marketing strategy for The Bureau might be. It features a creepy 60’s-era television show starring a clown that’s probably more frightening than any of the aliens in the game. Also, the child seen in the video appears to be the same one seen in the early teaser for The Bureau released in April, suggesting that a longer, more complete live-action story could be on the way.

This new video fits with the theme and setting of The Bureau. Players will take on the role of a 60’s-era XCOM agent who leads a team of secret agents to defeat invading alien forces in the U.S. and cover up any traces of the invasion. The game is a third-person action game, but also has a “battle focus” feature that allows players to strategize in ways similar to those found in XCOM: Enemy Unknown.
