  • Courteney Cox has kept up a steady and successful career since her time on Friends, and with the show’s recent reunion in honor of James Burrows, fans were curious as to what she’s working on now. Word is, she’s set to star in a new Fox comedy that will be written by Robert Padnick of The Office.

Tentatively titled Charity Case, the show will feature Cox as an executive producer and will focus on her character, Hailey, after she inherits her late billionaire husband’s charity.

Cox’s former co-star Matt LeBlanc is also attached to a new project, a pilot at CBS called I’m Not Your Friend. The duo took the stage last week with Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, and Lisa Kudrow to honor Burrows and revealed their favorite moments from the show, with LeBlanc saying one of his was the episode where Joey and Ross are in the emergency room. The actors revealed that they were always close off-set, as well, and would often go to one another’s homes to watch the episodes as they aired.

“We experienced friendship, family, heartbreak, babies, everything together. We also sort of had a wonderful experience with the world loving us, as well – they connected with us,” Jennifer Aniston said.

Courteney Cox recently called off her engagement to Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid, reportedly after going through counseling to try and repair their relationship. The actress hasn’t spoken much about the breakup, but seemed happy in an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, when she revealed how he’d proposed with help from her daughter, Coco.

“We went to Jen’s house for dinner because it was Coco’s birthday, and she was god mom. They made a plan to count down from three, and when they got to one, he was gonna get down on his knee and say, ‘Will you marry me?’ and she was gonna say, ‘Will you marry him?'” Cox said.
