The Seahawks – 49ers game was probably the most highly anticipated game of the week just because of the “bet.” For those who don’t know exactly what the bet entailed, the quarterback for the losing team agreed to shave one eyebrow! Not both, just one – which makes it even worse. Who really wants to walk around with one eyebrow?

Well, judging from the Seahawks’ 29-3 domination over the 49ers, there’s really no question as to who would be carving off one eyebrow. Seahawks QB Russell Wilson surely didn’t lose the game. So of course, the victim is none other than 49ers’ star quarterback, Colin Kaepernick. Although foes of the 49ers would automatically find it hilarious, I’m more than sure even die-hard 49er fans would silently partake in the comedic banter. It’s all in good fun, entertainment, and kind sportsmanship. So, the question of the hour is: Did Colin Kaepernick really go bald on one brow?

The day after the game, the second segment of the commercial aired. Wilson and Kaepernick both stand in the mirror, as Kaepernick begins applying the shaving cream. Then, as the dirty deed is done, the commercial ends! Judging from the commercial’s comical sketch, it’s plain to see the bet was all in fun for publicity purposes. Although Kaepernick put the razor to his face, it didn’t really look like he’d went in for the kill.  According to Fansided, Kaepernick didn’t really shave his eyebrow. But, it sure was a motivating factor to tune into the game. However, a bet is indeed a bet. So, we’ll just have to see if Kaepernick decided to be a good sport, and do it for fun.
