  • So, like, ok, the cast of iconic 90s film Clueless had a reunion on Tuesday at an L.A. Film Festival pre-screening event celebrating the film. It’s been almost two decades since its release (WE OLD) and stars Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash, and Elisa Donovan were on hand to reminisce.

“I thought I was channeling Marilyn Monroe and Lucille Ball. And obviously that wasn’t the case. But I just felt like that! Especially when I pushed [the character Elton] off [of me at a house party]. Those were the things that I found lovely,” said Silverstone of her role as spoiled teen Cher Horowitz. “We had so much fun,” said Dash. “[Heckerling] had such a clear vision and she was able to translate it to us perfectly.”

“It was such a magical experience,” said Donovan (Amber). “That was my first movie. So to have such an extraordinary group of people, and to have everybody be young, and have so much fun, it was amazing.” Notably absent from the reunion was co-star Brittany Murphy (Tai) who tragically passed in 2009.

The cast sat down with ABC reporter Rachel Smith to discuss the film’s iconic phrases and what their characters would likely be up to today. Donovan quoted her memorable line, “Ms. Stoger, my plastic surgeon doesn’t want me doing any physical activity with balls flying at my face,” as her favorite. Breckin Meyer (Travis), said “There was this one line from the movie … it always sticks in my head, when Brittany said, ‘You’re a virgin who can’t drive,’ and her accent kicks in.”

Unsurprisingly, the cast reunion has sparked rumors of a possible sequel. “I’m game to whatever Amy has in store. I think that time has passed, though,” said Silverstone of a second Clueless movie. “I don’t even know what Cher would be up to these days.”
