Claudia Schiffer turned down a million dollar date...Literally.
You can't put a price tag on the gorgeous blonde.
The German supermodel recently revealed that someone once tried to "hire" her for $1 million.
"The strangest one was an Arab prince. He asked if he could hire me for a dinner for a million pounds. I declined, and some other supermodel took it," Schiffer said when asked about a bizarre moment from her career on The Jonathan Ross Show.
Schiffer didn't reveal the Arab prince's name or model's name who accepted the offer name.
But why did the supermodel turn the huge offer down?
It turns out, it's not just about money for the 43-year-old.
"It's not all about money," she explained. "I just want to be able to walk down the street and be proud of what I do."
Schiffer even talked about her early days as a supermodel, claiming that she was "really, really shy."
But her shyness soon wore off after the term "supermodel" was coined, generating a buzz unlike any she had ever experienced before.
"When we left fashion shows, suddenly there were thousands of people. I'm not exaggerating! You had to have security people get you to your car—it just went crazy...It was like [being] a rock star," she said.
"I loved it."
