  • Christy Mack, the model and porn actress who was brutally beaten last week, alleges that her ex-boyfriend was her attacker. Now, he’s been arrested in California after a manhunt that lasted several days.

Jonathan “War Machine” Koppenhaver was tracked to a hotel in Simi Valley early on Friday afternoon and was taken into custody without incident. Authorities transferred him to the Ventura County Jail, where he was charged with several counts of battery (including strangulation), assault with a deadly weapon, coercion by force and “open and gross lewdness”.

Mack says Koppenhaver came to her home on August 8, where she was with a male friend, and attacked them both. He allegedly made her undress and shower, and when he went into the kitchen, she says she was afraid he was going for a weapon so she took the opportunity to run. She suffered 18 broken bones around her eyes, a broken nose, several broken teeth, a broken rib, and a ruptured liver. It’s not known what injuries her friend suffered.

Koppenhaver took to Twitter after the attack to tell his side of the story, saying he had gone to her house to propose to her.

Mack is still recovering from her brutal injuries, but several of her friends have started a crowdfunding page for her medical bills. With 89 days left to go, it has already garnered $66,000 in donations, and a dentist has offered to fix her teeth for free. Mack took to Twitter to thank her supporters and all the people who have helped her through this difficult time.
