Christina Milian Engaged; DWTS Rumors
Written by
  • Christina Milian is popping up in the news for a number of stories today, not the least of which is her reported engagement to boyfriend of two years, Jas Prince. Engagement rumors began back in April when Milian was spotted sporting a diamond ring on her ring finger. Life & Style is publishing the news from a friend of the couple, who says Milian, “is over-the-moon happy.”

While the couple, seen here on 26 August, has yet to directly address engagement news, Instagram and Twitter comments are coming in…

Milian was born Christine Flores in Jersey City, NJ. She has a three-year-old daughter, Violet, with previous husband The-Dream. Milian also recently reported that she will focus on her music career foregoing another season hosting The Voice. Her first album (self-titled) was released in 2001 and hit the Top 40 of the US Billboard Hot 100. Her most recent album is from 2006 and she released a single, Us Against The World, in 2008. Milian has also hosted for the Disney Channel and MTV. She has had a number of acting roles in TV and film, her first lead role in the 2003 film Love Don’t Cost a Thing.

She is among those speculated to be on this season’s Dancing With The Stars. Others strapping on their dancing shoes (allegedly) include Jack Osbourne (his sister Kelly was a finalist on the show in 2009), Snooki, Leah Remini, Elizabeth Berkley and Amber Riley.

Valerie Harper, who is fighting brain cancer, may also be joining the DWTS cast. Doctors had given the 74-year-old only a few months to live.
