  • Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are expecting their first baby. She is thrilled about everything to do with her pregnancy–even the changes in her body.

One of those changes might not be particularly welcome by most former Sports Illustrated swimsuit models, but Chrissy Teigen doesn’t mind. Her thighs are suddenly fuller than usual–and she thinks they’re wonderful.

“Hello new thighs! You appeared out of nowhere but I am not mad at it!” she captioned a photo, showing off her slightly bigger thighs.

It was just last month that Chrissy Teigen shared with the world that she and John Legend were expecting. Not long before that, she had talked openly about the difficulty they were having conceiving a child.

“I would say, honestly, [that] John and I were having trouble. We would have had kids five, six years ago if it had happened, but my gosh, it’s been a process,” she said on FabLife in September.

Chrissy Teigen told Us Weekly a few months ago that she and John Legend wanted lots of kids.

“I want a huge family,” she said. “We want a lot of kids. People think it happens so easily…but the stars really have to align to have a baby and it’s a little miracle.”

Now Chrissy Teigen has one such little miracle on the way. Kudos to her for loving everything about her pregnancy, and for not worrying that the weight gain or changes her body is undergoing might impact her career.

It will be fun to see Chrissy Teigen and John Legend as parents. It will be even more fun to see which of his or her parents their beautiful baby more closely resembles.
