Chrissy Teigen just couldn’t bring herself to finish reading Fifty Shades of Grey.

The American model, who made her debut in the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition in 2010 and has been featured every year since, is a prolific Tweeter and frequent Instagrammer. She often gives fans and followers play-by-play updates of her daily life on the social networks.

That’s what happened when Teigen and husband singer-songwriter John Legend headed to Mexico the day after Christmas.

She took at least two books along with her: E.L. James’ popular 2011 erotic romance Fifty Shades of Grey and the slightly more serious-sounding SEAL Team Six: Memoirs of an Elite Navy SEAL Sniper by Howard E. Wasdin and Stephen Templin.

Teigen kept the world updated on her beach reading progress via Twitter:
