Hold on to your seats, gentlemen. Supermodel Chrissy Teigen will host this year’s Billboard Music Awards.
The 29-year-old bombshell and music aficionado will grace the stage as the event’s presenter alongside superstar rapper Ludacris. The annual ceremony will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, showcasing this year’s hottest musical acts and the biggest and brightest stars.
John Legend’s wife says she is highly qualified to host the event. "If my extensive collection of all 53 'Now That's What I Call Music' compilations is any indication, I am both qualified and honored to join Ludacris in hosting this amazing show that spotlights the best music and artists of the year," the model said.

"I had so much fun hosting the Billboard Music Awards last year and I can't wait to be back!" said 37-year-old Ludacris, who might have enjoyed last year’s Billboard Music Awards only too well because of Jennifer Lopez’s sizzling double acts.
Last year’s event was held on May 18, also at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas. JLo was presented with the Icon Award for her years of successful work in the music industry. Other big winners during last year’s awards night included Justin Timberlake, who won eight grand slam awards, including Top Male Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Duo/ Group and Top Rock Artist. Katy Perry won Top Female Artist while smash hit single “Blurred Lines” earned Robin Thicke, T.I. and Pharrell four trophies: Top Hot 100 Song, Top Digital Song, Top Radio Song and Top R&B Song. Thicke also performed his single, "Get Her Back" during the show.
