  • I love the Google Android mascot. The little green guy is absolutely adorable and I would love to get my hands on some of the Android toys that Googlers get to buy from the company store. I’m even more jealous now that there’s an inflatable RC Android rolling around Google HQ.

Pocket-Lint got the skinny on a new new toy from Bladez Toys that features an inflatable Android mascot on wheels that’s controlled via RC steering wheel. It’s about the most awesome thing ever, besides DJ Roomba. I would love to have one for my house to drive around, but it’s unfortunately only available to Google employees.

A Googler’s new best friend will be 65cm tall and will be able to move forward and backward. He can spin 360 degrees for when he needs to turn. Those kind of tank controls might mean that he falls over from time to time. No worries as Android will right himself up whenever he’s knocked over.

Here’s a few videos that show off what will soon be the ultimate object of my jealousy over the next few months.

The good news is that Google may offer these little guys up to consumers later on down the road if they prove popular with Google employees. I think we all know what that means – we must petition Googlers to buy these guys in droves. Sure, it’s self-serving as I may be the only one who wants to relive his childhood with an RC inflatable Android, but you can’t blame a guy for trying.

If you must get your droid on and can’t wait for the potential sale of the Android RC buddy, Bladez Toys is also working on an amazing R2-D2 unit of the same variety. Check it out:
