From Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds to Beyoncé and Jay-Z, celebrity couples walked the red carpet in droves last night at the annual Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala in New York City. One couple that everyone seems to be talking about the day after is Charlize Theron and Sean Penn, who were more than comfortable with putting on some good old fashioned PDA.

The couple behaved themselves at the actual event, holding hands on the red carpet and posing for pictures. However, according to an eye witness who reported to Us Weekly, things got a little down and dirty at the after party at the Boom Boom Room at the Standard Hotel.

The couple was reportedly grooving to the Ol’ Dirty Bastard standard Got Your Money on the dance floor and then chilling on the roof top of the nightclub with cocktails and cigarettes. The source reported, “They play fought with each other and Theron started biting on his neck before they started rigorously making out.”

Penn and Theron have a history of public make out sessions. They were first reported together while canoodling on vacationing in Hawaii in January.

The Oscar winners were not the only celebrity couples at the uber-exclusive fundraising event.

The Met Gala is considered one of the most exclusive social events to take place in the Big Apple. It is attended by celebrities and fashionistas in order to raise money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.
