  • When news broke that Charlie Sheen and fiancée Brett Rossi were calling the whole thing off, most of the world just rolled with the news.

The couple had been dating since November of last year. Sheen proposed during a Valentine’s Day vacation to Hawaii, and they were to be married in November of this year.

But, alas, it was not to be. Sheen released the following statement about the breakup.

“Scotty and I had a great year together as we traveled the world and crossed a lot of things off our bucket list. She’s a terrific gal, but we’ve mutually decided to go our separate ways and to not spend the rest of our lives together. I’ve decided that my children deserve my focus more than a relationship does right now. I still have tremendous fondness for Scotty and I wish her all the best.”

But RadarOnline has the word from an “insider” friend of Sheen’s that Sheen was just tired of all the fighting with Rossi.

“The relationship actually ended a few weeks ago,” the insider said. “Charlie finally broke up with her and kicked her out of the house. All of the fighting had just gotten out of control, and Brett was making him miserable. Charlie just wanted to hang out with his friends, but Brett always pitched a fit when he did,”

Another RadarOnline source had previously said that it was not Sheen’s idea to wear the “man engagement ring” he had been sporting for months.

“Brett forced Charlie to wear the wedding band, which he is wearing as an engagement ring,” the source said. “Charlie continues to hang around with other women, which infuriates Brett. … Brett wants to make it clear that Charlie is off the market.”

Now that the two are Splitsville, maybe those rings are getting handed back over? Not so fast. If the source is right, Cahrlie is letting Brett keep the ring he bought her.

“Charlie bought the ring for Brett and would never ask for it back,” said the insider. “Brett can do whatever she wants with the ring, and will also keep all of the clothing, handbags, and other jewelry he gave her. Charlie is extremely generous with the people he cares about.”

Some sources report that the ring is worth $100,000.
