Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are the proud parents of a new baby girl. Catelynn gave birth on New Year’s Day. This is the second daughter for the couple, who gave their first baby, Carly, up for adoption. The highly emotional process of giving her up was documented on MTV’s hit show 16 and Pregnant , back in 2009.

News broke back in May that Catelynn and Tyler were once again expecting. The two called off a five-year engagement back in July, but Tyler presented Catelynn Lowell with a new engagement ring just a week ago on Christmas Day.

Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry spilled the beans about the new baby’s birth with her Twitter congratulations.

Tyler later took to Twitter himself to share the happy news.

Earlier on January 1st, Baltierra posted an old photo on Instagram of him holding Carly shortly after her birth.

“IT’S HAPPENING! Here we go, doing this all over again. This is surreal, I’m freakin out a little lol but can’t wait to meet my little angel! Thinking a lot about Carly right now. It’s bringing me back. Even though I know this time I will actually be taking her home. I love my girls! #CantWait #Nervous #Excited #Scared #Happy,” he captioned the shot.

Congratulations are definitely in order for Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra. Fans are no doubt excited to find out what they’ll call their new daughter. For now, she is simply being referred to as ‘Baby V.’
