Bruce Jenner has reportedly been offering marriage and relationship advice to Lamar Odom since back around Thanksgiving. Now it seems he’s dishing out advice in the divorce world, too. Isn’t it a little strange that Bruce’s stepdaughter Khloe Kardashian is the one divorcing Lamar, yet he’s giving Lamar the advice?

Of course Bruce does have experience in that relationship realm as well, since he and wife Kris Jenner are presently separated. The two claim they get along just fine living separately. Is that what he’s encouraging Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian to do?

Bruce Jenner claims Lamar Odom is no longer on drugs and that he’s simply lending a hand to his soon-to-be former step-son-in-law (follow that!) as he navigates the streets of sobriety and of once again playing NBA basketball.

It seems Lamar is worried about the image the new season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians will portray of him. Bruce’s advice wasn’t particularly reassuring. He told him to, “hope for the best but expect the worst when it comes to that show and what they’re going to reveal because this is how they survive — by putting everything on the table.”

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s split was one of the top stories of 2013.

If you’re still not sure you’d ever take marriage–or divorce–advice from Bruce Jenner, you’re probably not alone. He likely means well, but his track record at the present time isn’t exactly sublime. Bruce should simply be relegated to once again teaching daughter Kylie Jenner to drive in light of her recent run in with the cops in Malibu.
