Brooklyn Decker says that if she could choose a celebrity to take with her on the road, it would be her pal Chrissy Teigen.
Decker–who is promoting her road-trip film Lovesong at Sundance–said that one of the best things about taking a trip with someone you know well is that there’s no need for that awkward, let’s-break-the-ice period.
“She’s one of my really close friends and I know it would be hilarious the entire time. So out of all people, dead or alive, I would choose Chrissy. Plus, we already know each other, right? So you don’t have to break the ice. It’d be easy. There’s no better way to get to know somebody.”
Decker probably won’t be hitting the asphalt anytime soon, however, as she just had a baby last fall with husband Andy Roddick. Brooklyn and the tennis star have shared their parenthood journey on social media, with Brooklyn sharing snaps on Instagram of her post-baby body despite the pressures that Hollywood can put on women for doing just that.
“Being married to Andy has given me a new appreciation for my body. He’s taught me that it’s not how thin you are that matters. It’s how your body performs, how it endures wear and tears,” Brooklyn told Women’s Health.
While Brooklyn Decker is very happy with her family, she says she wasn’t so good at learning from her husband when it came to playing tennis. The Grace & Frankie star said she got too frustrated and ended up making a deal with Roddick.
“I ended up hitting all the tennis balls over the fence and smashing my racket because I was so frustrated. I told him, ‘You don’t teach me how to play tennis, and I won’t teach you how to model in a bathing suit.’ And so far, it’s worked.”
