  • Brody Jenner, son of Keeping Up With the Kardashians patriarch Bruce Jenner, will serve as house DJ at the upcoming Kickoff Party of the Adult Video News Awards Show. The AVNs, as this award ceremony is called, is the sex industry’s Oscars.

Jenner will team up with DJ William Lifestyle for the affair. He will reportedly be paid upward of five figures for his work at the event.

“Jenner, who made his name as an actor, model and reality star in TV addictions Keeping Up with the Kardashians and The Hills, is now a star on the rise as a respected DJ, spinning in the hottest clubs of LA, Las Vegas and Atlantic City,” a news release said. “He and LA-based DJ Lifestyle have found a natural collective groove that has earned them a following with the late-night set.”

How do you suppose Bruce Jenner and Brody Jenner’s stepsisters, Kourtney, Khloe, and Kim Kardashian feel about him lending not only his expertise but his name to a porn industry function? And what about his young half-sisters, Kylie and Kendall Jenner?

The AVNs have supposedly contacted New Zealand singing star Lorde about performing at the awards show, but thus far has received no reply. Since Lorde isn’t big on a lot of the hype Americans are known to love–the porn industry perhaps being among said hype–she doesn’t seem like the kind of performer who would accept that kind of offer.

Brody Jenner has endured several conflicts with his step-siblings in the past. Might he be thumbing his nose at them by serving as DJ at the AVNs?
