  • Britney Spears brought us back in time when she arrived at the 2015 Video Music Awards in LA on Sunday, in a daring gold sequined minidress showing her flat tummy and toned arms and legs.

It was like looking at a younger version of Britney Spears as she walked the red carpet and posed for cameras.

The dress worn by Britney, was designed by Labourjoisie, the same designer who designed Nicki Minaj’s dress during the VMAs.

Britney’s dress had her midriff and cleavage are on full display, like a belly dancer. Her skintight dress was paired with strappy gold heels and simple sparkling earrings.

The “Oop!…I Did It Again” singer’s blonde hair was pulled up into a ponytail, and finished off with blue strands. She also wore a shade of earth toned eyeshadow.

Britney’s dress was sort of a throwback to past outfits from her music videos. In her 2004 music video of “Toxic,” she was covered in diamonds and very little else.

“That’s just her naked with diamonds on…I’m not sure what I was thinking about when she told me about that scene,” music video director Joseph Kahn told MTV. “But every video needs an iconic image to remember,” Kahn added.

Now that’s really an iconic image of Britney Spears. The 33-year-old pop star and mother of two children, presented the Best Male Video that night, looking gorgeous and stunning. Her ensemble might have seemed a bit over the top but Britney naturally rocked it for the awards.

Britney Spears is now busy with recording music for her upcoming ninth studio album.

Looking forward to another music video of your future songs Brit!
