Gearbox and 2K Games have been aggressively marketing Borderlands 2 with plenty of trailers, reveals, and even a playable 16-bit browser version of Borderlands. Now, with less than two weeks to go before the September 18 launch of Borderlands 2, the advertising has spread into the mainstream.

Aside from the 10-story ad spotted in New York, TV commercials for the game have also been filling up commercial breaks. This weekend, one of those commercials leaked onto the web, showing how Borderlands 2 might look if it were made into a TV series.

Unfortunately, the video is poor quality, as the uploader simply pointed a camera on his or her TV screen. Still, it’s fun to see a live-action version of Borderlands, even if the real actors make the entire concept (especially the oversized guns) seem rather silly.
