Bobbi Kristina Brown will die on Wednesday, the same day as her mother, Whitney Houston.
The New York Post reports that Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family have decided to take her off life support at midnight Tuesday night, allowing her to die on February 11th.
Whitney Houston died on February 11th, 2012 after she was found in an eerily similar scene in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel.
Bobbi Kristina Brown has been in a medically induced coma since she was rushed to the hospital after being found face down in her bathtub on January 31st, but the family is ready to let her go.
While doctors have told the family there is nothing they can do, they continue to remain hopeful that a miracle could occur.
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family held a public vigil on Monday night.
They invited everyone to come for singing and prayer for Bobbi Kristina.
A source told The New York Post that Cissy Houston, Whitney Houston’s mother, came up with the idea to let Bobbi Kristina die on the 11th.
“This is the only thing they can agree on — that she’s gone [brain-dead], and there’s nothing more than can be done for her,” the source said.
Apparently the family has been bickering since the beginning of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s tragedy, but filmmaker Tyler Perry has been with the family and has been a surprising source of peace to both sides. He has even been asked to make her funeral arrangements.
The source said, “You wouldn’t think of him as being someone who’d be a peacemaker, but he’s someone both sides really respect.”
As Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family gets ready to say goodbye, investigations continue into the involvement of boyfriend Nick Gordon.
WSB-TV in Atlanta reported that injuries to her face and mouth aroused suspicions of foul play.
