  • The Voice coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine appeared on the season premiere of the Ellen DeGeneres Show, and opened up about their personal lives.

Levine recently tied the knot with model Behati Prinsloo and admitted that he tends to abuse the word ‘wife.’ He said that he loves saying it, and tends to use it a bit too much.

“I abuse that word right now, a lot,” the Maroon 5 singer said. “I’ll say it for no reason. I’ll say, ‘Where is my wife?’ And she’ll be right there. Wife, wife, wife. I love that term. I even changed the number on my phone to ‘Wife’ when she calls.”

Levine and Prinsloo said “I do” in front of 300 of their closest friends and family members in Los Cabos, Mexico.

Prinsloo wore a Marchesa gown, and was accompanied by her fellow Victoria’s Secret models as her bridesmaids. Levine’s band mates served as groomsmen. In lieu of gifts, the couple asked their guests to donate to the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

DeGeneres then turned her attention to Shelton, who is married to country music superstar Miranda Lambert, pressing him to tell her if children are in their near future.

“Now, Blake, are you going to be reproducing soon?” DeGeneres asked the Honeybee singer.

“Um, I mean. No,” he said, a lot less enthusiastically then Levine.

It seems as though Blake can’t accept the fact that his fellow coach is now a married man. “You have a ring on. That is so weird,” Shelton said to Levine.

“I do. I know,” Levine replied. “I never really thought I would. It’s trippy. I’m such a child. How did this happen?”
