Blake Shelton Gives Thanks for Fellow “Voice” Coach–Not Gwen Stefani

  • Blake Shelton gave thanks for one of his fellow coaches on The Voice on Thanksgiving Day. Of course everyone expected it might be Gwen Stefani for whom he gave thanks, but it wasn’t–at least not during this particular Tweet, anyway. It was the coach with whom he’s long shared a bromance–Adam Levine.

Blake Shelton is likely referring to the regrowth of Adam Levine’s facial and head hair. When this season of The Voice premiered, Levine had shaved his head, and was the butt of countless jokes on behalf of Shelton.

Contrary to popular belief, Blake Shelton didn’t spend Thanksgiving with new lady Gwen Stefani. Instead he spent it at his home in Oklahoma. Gwen had a photo shoot in L.A., so was there for the holiday.

Blake Shelton’s ex-wife Miranda Lambert went home to her mom and dad for Thanksgiving, in Longview, Texas. Just days ahead of the holiday she spoke out about her divorce from Blake Shelton for the first time.

“Marriage is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try,” she said. “I had a great relationship with an amazing man. I know what good is. I have a great launching pad for the future. I will never take that for granted.”

Despite the turmoil that surely ripped both Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert apart, it seems like they’re both in good places right now. Gwen Stefani’s life was ripped apart when ex-husband Gavin Rossdale cheated on her with their nanny.

It seems like karma or fate or just plain old coincidence threw Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani into each other’s arms.

And then of course there’s Adam Levine. Blake Shelton will always love him.

Don’t you love Blake and Adam’s antics on The Voice?
