  • Bindi Irwin is almost 17 and she carries her dad with her every day in her looks and in her mission.

Even though Bindi Irwin was only eight when her father died filming a documentary, she still remembers him and carries on his mission.

Bindi Irwin is a lot like every other teenage girl out there.

For instance, Bindi Irwin has a job working with the creatures at Australia Zoo.

Bindi Irwin also has a boyfriend! But she’s not spilling who it is.

Bindi Irwin told ET, “There is someone special in my life right now, and I’m really happy with that. Life is wonderful at the moment.”

Unlike many a teenager, however, she really looks up to her parents.

Bindi Irwin said, “Mom and Dad are truly my heroes. And I have to say, so is my little brother Robert. He’s 11 and he’s just the most amazing boy. He’s so much like Dad sometimes it’s a bit scary. Dad is and always will be my living, breathing superhero.”

Bindi Irwin is passionate about her father’s legacy of wildlife appreciation, education, and conservation.

She said, “He always used to say that he didn’t mind if people remembered him or not. He just cared if they remembered his message, and that’s what we’re trying to do. To make sure that his message lives on in all of us.”

What an amazing girl she has grown up to be!
