  • Big Sean and fiancee Naya Rivera are no longer an item, according to the rapper’s rep.

The couple were first spotted together early last year and announced their engagement in the fall; both contributed to one another’s music in some way, with Big Sean making an appearance on her song “Sorry” and Rivera saying her other half would give her advice on little things to change. Sean also mentioned her in the Drake song “All Me”.

“He’s been doing this a lot longer than I have professionally, so his advice is priceless,” Rivera said. “I’ll play him stuff and he’ll give me little tweaks.”

Rumors that Big Sean cheated on Rivera have been floating across the web, although his reps say there’s no truth to them.

“After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off,” the representative said. “The recent rumors and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter.”

There aren’t many details as to the split, although a “source” told Us Weekly that Sean is the one who ended it. Rivera, on the other hand, was singing Sean’s praises pretty recently in Cosmopolitan for Latinas.

“He’s so kind to people, but he also wears the pants in our relationship, which I love,” she said. “We Latinas are very independent and strong, so it’s even sweeter that I’ve found somebody who can let me out of that role for a minute.”
