  • Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are keeping up the appearance that all is well with their family despite their impending divorce, but for a very good cause — their three children.

The Batman star and Garner, 43, could not save their marriage, but that doesn’t mean they want to harm their children — Violet, nine, Seraphina, six, and Samuel, three — in the process.

The estranged couple continues to show a happy home front by living on the same rental property in Atlanta, Ga., while Jennifer Garner films her upcoming movie, Miracles From Heaven. Ben Affleck, 42, is reportedly staying in the guesthouse of the five-bedroom, 5,114-square-foot home, to care for the children while she works. .

“They both put on their happy faces and don’t show any signs of anger or frustration,” a source told Us Weekly of the couple who are still sporting their wedding rings.

“They definitely play happy family in front of the kids.”

The kids parents also work hard to insure that all three get one-on-one time with each parent. “Ben and Jen have always made a point to do that so each kid gets special bonding time,” another insider said.

In fact, shortly after arriving in Atlanta, Affleck was spotted spending some daddy-daughter time with Violet at the Atlanta Center for Civil and Human Rights on July 9, and the little girl looked happy during the educational adventure.

The happy home front will be maintained when the family returns to Los Angeles. Garner and Ben Affleck will renovate the guesthouse on their $17.5 million property so that Affleck can stay there, and allow them to continue co-parenting as best as they can.

“They want to fill their children’s lives with as much love as possible and make sure they know they have two parents who love them to pieces,” a source told Us.
