  • Bella Thorne got her scream on for MTVs new TV adaptation of the Scream movie franchise.

Although the “it” girl of Hollywood declined the lead in the upcoming series, she joined the ranks of Drew Barrymore, Jada Pinkett Smith, Mike Epps and Kristen Bell to die in the opening scene of the Scream film productions.

During a recent Facebook Q&A, Bella Thorne accidentally let it slip that she dies in the first scene like her predecessors.

“Bella it’s true that you will appear on the first episode of scream TV series in 2015?” asked one Twitter follower.

“Yes it is true,” Tweeted Bella Thorne. “I will re-enact the famous scene of drew barrymore in the original series.”

Bella Thorne reportedly turned down the lead role in the MTV reboot because of time and travel restraints, but is still glad to be a part of the show that is being filmed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

“It just didn’t end up working out relocation-wise. I just couldn’t do it. I’m too young to relocate,” Thorne tweeted. “I love my mom and my brother. Although that sounds very immature, I’m still a kid at heart. I like being home in my bed and I can’t lose my brother just yet. We’re best friends.”

Looks like family comes over fame and money for the young actress.
