Elizabeth Olsen--the younger sister of those Olsens--may not seem like the first choice for an action role after her critically-acclaimed turn in the quiet little movie that took audiences by storm, "Martha Marcy May Marlene", but her acting range has continued to surprise us in the past year or so, and now it looks like she'll be branching out into the world of superhero/action flicks.
Olsen was accidentally confirmed as a character in "Avengers: Age Of Ultron" by none other than Samuel L. Jackson, who plays Nick Fury in the Marvel universe.
"I don't think we begin shooting before March of next year, I know we're shooting in London, that James Spader is Ultron and going to be the bad guy, and that we added Ms. Olsen, but I don't know what she's doing, if she's on the inside or the outside. I haven't seen a script," Jackson said.
Jackson didn't reveal who Olsen would be playing, but she's being rumored for the role of Scarlet Witch. As for Olsen herself, she hasn't confirmed anything (and likely won't until Marvel makes an official announcement on their site) but has said in the past that she'd love to be in an Avengers film.
“I’ve been rumored about lots of things [so] I don’t know… To be part of [The Avengers]? Sure. I grew up loving comic books and sci-fi… I think those movies are great. I would love to do something like that," she said.
