A healthy baby girl waltzed her way into the hearts of Anna Trebunskaya and her boyfriend this past Saturday. The former Dancing with the Stars cast member braved out an at home birth over the weekend when she welcomed her first daughter, Amalya Millan into the world.

The 33 year old Russian born performer announced her pregnancy in September, after it was noticed that she wasn’t rejoining the 17th season of the dance reality show. She had told People, “Even though this was not planned, I believe things happen for a reason and it was meant to be.” At the time she also expounded on her pregnancy in another interview:

“I thought, ‘This is perfect — I’m ready to be a mom. This is something really good for me and fulfilling, and it’ll give me a whole new meaning in life. I’m really looking forward to it.”

Although she wished to retain privacy regarding the father’s identity last fall, she now has shared that Amalya’s father is Nevin Millan. Millan, also an entertainer, is a musician, actor, and filmmaker. Some of his work has included appearances in True Blood, CSI: NY, and Nip/Tuck. Anna has described him as “very supportive”.

“We’re thrilled to welcome our beautiful, healthy baby into the world. We couldn’t be happier,” the couple said in a statement.
