Amber Marchese will not be returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Marchese says she and husband Jim want to pursue “more suitable endeavors.”

“Jim and I have been giving Real Housewives or New Jersey a lot of thought and given the current state of affairs regarding our personal lives and the direction of the show, we officially decided to move on. The show was not what we expected it to be, and I want to pursue more suitable endeavors,” Marchese told People in a statement.

Amber Marchese, who appeared on the show’s 6th season, will be remembered by show fans for her fights with Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano.

Fights, which she claims, were pretty much fabricated.

Marchese is fighting her second battle with cancer.

“Breast cancer hit me hard, I’m hitting back even harder. I strongly support and thank all foundations that contribute towards a cure for this DIS-ease. Although my body has been through chemotherapy (and still goes through), radiation, and too many surgeries to even count anymore, I remain strong and sexy,” she said in a recent Instagram post.
