Amazon announced today that its annual Holiday Toy List is now available for your viewing pleasure. It collects all the hot toys that your kids will want and then some. It also teamed up with Amazon Mom fans to pick out 10 toys from the top 10 trending toy categories of the year.

“Our goal is to offer an unmatched toy selection, but it’s also extremely important to us that our customers can easily find that one right toy at a great value,” says John Alteio, director of Toys and Games for Amazon. “The holidays are busy enough as it is, so we worked hard on our 2013 Holiday Toy List to create a simple and fun way for our customers to discover the toys that best suit their child’s individual interests. Put the kids to bed, kick up your feet and shop – we think you’ll find just the right gift to put a smile on their face this holiday season.”

So, what did Amazon Mom fans pick out for you children this year? Unsurprisingly, the leading toy in the Fun Tech Toys category is Amazon’s own Kindle Fire HDX 7″ tablet. The other toys on the list are made up of the usual subjects that vie for you attention every year, like Hot Wheels and board games.

    Here’s the full list:

  • Fun Tech Toys: Kindle Fire HDX 7” Tablet
  • Getting the Family Together: The Sneaky Snacky Squirrel Game
  • Hug the Earth Toys: Melissa & Doug Cook’s Corner Wooden Kitchen
  • Classic and Retro Toys: KidKraft Waterfall Mountain Train Set and Table
  • Jaw Droppers: KidKraft So Chic Dollhouse
  • Craft and DIY Toys: Hot Wheels Car Maker Playset
  • Baby Toys: VTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Train Station Playset
  • Character Toys: Fisher-Price Octonauts Octopod Playset
  • Road Trip Approved: Playskool Showcam 2-in-1 Digital Camera and Projector
  • Animal Friends: Skip Hop Giraffe Safari Stacking Animal Blocks
  • The above list doesn’t mention the top picks in video games, but there is a category. It’s full of the usual suspects, like Just Dance 2014, Skylanders SWAP Force and NBA 2K14. There’s not a PS4, Xbox One or Wii U in sight, but that’s probably to be expected this year.

Amazon also wants you to know that it will the be the exclusive carrier for a number of toys this holiday season, including the KidKraft Cranberry Retro Kitchen or the super awesome Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back Slave 1 Spaceship Vehicle. Actually, all of the Star Wars Vintage Collection toys are amazing, and a lot of them seem to be exclusive to Amazon.

If you want even more ideas, check out Amazon’s Holiday Toy List in its entirety. You’ll also want to keep an eye out for upcoming Lightning Deals as Amazon will be discounting one toy off its list every few hours until mid-December. You’ll want to jump on these deals as soon as possible.

Just don’t buy your kid Lincoln Logs. They weren’t cool in the 70s and they’re not cool now.
