  • Amanda Bynes may really be turning over a new leaf! Several news outlets have reported that the 27-year-old actress has been quite dedicated to her daily workout sessions.

It was also reported that the troubled star started her physical road to recovery in Utah earlier this month.

According to E! News, Bynes reportedly began working to get her old body back last week. The actress is said to have paid an estimated $3,250 when she enrolled in Fitness Jumpstart, which is an intense, week-long program at the Utah-based Miracles Fitness Retreat.

Austan Torson, Miracles Fitness Retreat owner and personal trainer, spoke exclusively with E! in reference to Bynes’ progress during her time at the facility.

“She was interested in getting healthier…to get in better shape, to lose about five pounds, but mainly to strengthen up and eat healthier,” Torson informed the publication.

“I think it was a really good experience for her,” Torson added. “She participated in everything we did. She was always up in the morning even though she was tired.”

Bynes was spotted out in Los Angeles, CA on Thursday, Jan. 23. Photographers snapped pictures of the Easy A actress with her father Rick Bynes as he dropped her off at the gym.

The actress has also been reportedly spending a great amount time with her parents following her six month stint in rehabilitation at a Malibu, CA inpatient, treatment facility.

Back in December, Bynes’ attorney Tamar Arminak spoke exclusively with US Weekly following her release from the rehab facility. Arminak shared small details in regards to Bynes’ plans for 2014.

“Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who’s contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda’s recovery,” said Arminak.

“She’s mentioned before she’s interested in creating a clothing line,” her attorney added. “Despite the fact that Amanda is no longer in a facility, her outpatient treatment is continuing. She’s very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared.”

Bynes also opted to expound on her aspirations of starting her own clothing line. She is currently enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Orange County.
